Buffalo Trace Distillery's Stagg Jr. is one of the market's most popular and often allocated bourbons. This bold, uncut, and unfiltered whiskey is made from Buffalo Trace's secretive Mash Bill #1, the same mash bill from which Eagle Rare, Geroge T. Stagg, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Benchmark, and E.H. Taylor are made.

Here is a quick list of Stagg Jr. batches, release dates, and proofs for quick reference. If you purchased a store pick, it will typically have a different proof than what you see below.

  • Batch 23A  - (Late Spring, 2023) - 130.2

Smell IS taste. I am just a guy who has been hit with the bourbon bug and who has come to the conclusion that life is too short to drink average tasting bourbons. Go Gators!
