What is a Sleigh Rye'd Cocktail?

  • 1 ounce of spiced cranberry syrup
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • Orange peel, for garnish

  • Garnish: Angostura bitters & rosemary sprign Straight Rye Whiskey

Steps

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the cranberries, water, sugar, cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, until the cranberries burst and the syrup thickens slightly.
