My journey with whiskey truly began in October 2014 when I visited Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan. I tried 13 different things and gained a love for rye. I spent years drinking stuff from smaller places (assuming it was like beer where craft was better) and then a friend turned me on to Buffalo Trace and Larceny, that started my journey with bourbon. Heavy oak is my favorite.
