Distillery Tasting Notes

Made by Heaven’s Door Spirits ~ Heaven's Door Distillery

This proprietary finishing process results in a smoother, more approachable rye with notes of orange peel, coriander, and spice. NOTES: French oak cigar barrels impart silkier flavor tannins and mellowing characteristics to Heaven’s Door Rye Whiskey, balancing out the grain’s inherent spice. Unlike traditional bourbon barrels, Heaven’s Door’s cigar barrels are not charred, allowing the naturally occurring flavors of air-dried oak to shine. FINISH: Smooth and approachable with a long-lasting finish of orange peel, coriander, and spice.
