Barrels & Billets Announces ‘Against All Odds’ Bottle Release Event

Release: October 06, 2023

New bourbon created by Military Veteran Baseball Team: Louisville Slugger Warriors

Louisville, Ky. (October 6, 2023) – Barrels & Billets, Hillerich & Bradsby Co.’s (H&B) unique experience where guests blend, create and bottle their very own bourbon, proudly announces the release of their newest bourbon creation, "Against All Odds." This exceptional bourbon blend was created this past March at Barrels & Billets with the remarkable members of the Louisville Slugger Warriors, a competitive baseball team comprised of US military veterans, active-duty personnel, and wounded warriors who have faced extraordinary challenges both on and off the field. A portion of the bottle sales will be donated to the Louisville Slugger Warriors.

"Against All Odds" is a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Louisville Slugger Warriors and their dedication to overcoming adversity. The Louisville Slugger Warriors are a National Amputee Baseball Team that resides all over the country. They place in national baseball tournaments around the country and in special baseball game events, all against able-bodied teams. The players on the team have either suffered a loss of limb, partial limb, digits, eye and serious limb deformities. This exclusive bourbon is a symbol of resilience and perseverance, and it embodies the unwavering commitment to excellence shared by both Barrels & Billets and the Louisville Slugger Warriors. The Warriors are led by Head Coach and former MLB player Cur􀆟s Pride, who is deaf.

"I am incredibly excited about this collaboration with Barrels & Billets and the opportunity to share our stories,” said David Van Sleet, General Manager of the Louisville Slugger Warriors. “'Against All Odds' is not just a bourbon; it's a testament to the resilience and strength that defines our team. We've faced immense challenges both on and off the field, and this bourbon symbolizes our determination to overcome.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Barrels & Billets invites guests for an extraordinary evening of camaraderie and bourbon appreciation on November 1st, from 6pm to 8pm.
