Distillery Tasting Notes

Made by Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits

NOSE: Dried stone fruit (apricot, persimmon), clover honey, baking spice (clove, caraway). PALATE: The Barbadian casks give a warming richness up front, while the Jamaican casks impart an earthy, fruity finish on the back end. The different lengths of finish help balance the sweetness of the younger barrels with the soft tannin and baking spice of the longer finish. FINISH: Light and breathy with golden raisins dusted in a whisper of ceylon cinnamon.
