81 Highly Rated Bourbon General Review of Blue Note Crossroads

I popped open Blue Note Crossroads, and the nose was wonderful immediately. A little cherry, mild cinnamon spice, rich toasted oak, and toasted char. GREAT!

The palate is a little milder than I anticipated based on the nose but there's a distinct and wonderful toasted oak char. I initially get only rye spice but without a kick, It is a little too underwhelming for my taste. Frankly, the palate is a little boring on this first pour. However, as I got deeper into the experiences, the palate seemed to get a little bit richer with time in the glass. It is now growing on me.

Sadly, there is virtually no finish.

The nose is a spectacular WINNER but everything else falls short on the initial pour. I will revisit this in a few weeks and update the review.

Smell IS taste. I am just a guy who has been hit with the bourbon bug and who has come to the conclusion that life is too short to drink average tasting bourbons. Go Gators!
