Doc Swinson’s Alter Ego (Neck Pour). This tastes EXACTLY like I would expect a Sherry and Cognac finished Bourbon to taste.
Very sweet on the nose after letting it sit for a couple of minutes, wow. You can taste the cognac more so than the sherry (I like cognac). Add a buttery rye spice palate. Pepper. The rye/cognac finish is a little hotter than the proof because of the high rye. The heat finish is long.
This is better than I expected because of some of the other reviews I've seen. It’s good! I’m anxious for the next pours after I let it open up.
