77 General Review of Noble Oak Double Oaked Bourbon

The nose of Noble Oak Double Oak Bourbon finished with sherry oak staves, is very light and airy with traditional bourbon notes combined with sweet raisins, dried fruits, and oak mixture on the nose. The flavor of the sherry oak staves comes through strong.

Noble Oak Double Oak Bourbon

A lightly toasted oak and dark raisins mixture is combined with a mild ethanol sting on the palate. It drinks a little bit hotter than its 90-proof—nutty oak with a soft licorice and cocoa taste.

Because it drinks a little bit hotter than its 90 proof, there is a pleasant heat on the back of the throat, and the finish lasts a decent length.

This bourbon is finished with sherry oak staves, creating a somewhat unique taste. However, you want this to be a little bit creamier and denser in flavor than it is. It is a good bourbon for a 90-proofer.

Smell IS taste. I am just a guy who has been hit with the bourbon bug and who has come to the conclusion that life is too short to drink average tasting bourbons. Go Gators!
