Mild cinnamon, rye spice, and apple. If this whiskey sits in the glass for a while, you will get more robust honey notes mixed with the rye.
On the first sip, the rye spice is bold, and once it hits the mid-palate, it becomes very minty. Union Horse Distilling Co. Reunion Straight Rye Whiskey has the punch of a 121.4 proof barrel-strength rye whiskey. Make no mistake: this is a rye-drinker's rye with a bit of honey sweetness and white pepper spice.
Cinnamon, white pepper, and rye on the dry finish.
