Distillery Tasting Notes

Made by Sazerac Company ~ Buffalo Trace Distillery

Even after two decades of aging in an oak barrel, this bourbon whiskey is surprisingly balanced. Hints of vanilla, toasted oak, and caramel lead to a gracefully aged oaky flavor. A nose of dark cherries and creamy caramel, on the palate, dark chocolate, smoked oak, and dates, followed by a long, complex finish of cinnamon, anise, and oak.
