Distillery Tasting Notes

Made by Four Gate Whiskey Company, LLC ~ Four Gate Whiskey Company

Appearance: Dark Reddish-Amber. Nose: Sweet fruits, fortified wine, molasses, and Vanilla. Taste: Where the sherry plays a big role on the nose, the underlying bourbon and rum finish take the forefront on the palate with traditional rye-bourbon spice and dark burnt brown sugars on the periphery. Finish: Medium-short in length, the finish is dry and sherry-forward with a pepper spice that lingers a bit on the rear palate.
